Ready to paint after dark?
Sugar Skull Glow takes the traditional Wine & Canvas experience and turns down the lights. You’ll paint this bold sugar skull using brilliant fluorescent colors designed to pop beneath blacklights, surrounded by colorful floral details against a vivid glowing background.
This special event takes place at The Mockingbird on Mill Road in Graytown, Ohio, giving you the perfect excuse to make an entire evening of it. The Mockingbird is a dinner-forward wine café known for its relaxed atmosphere, food, wine, beer and specialty beverages.
We encourage you to arrive early and enjoy dinner and drinks from The Mockingbird before painting begins.
Then grab your seat, watch the blacklights come on and get ready to create.
Never painted before? You’re absolutely welcome. Laura will guide you through the painting step-by-step. No previous painting experience is necessary, and your finished Sugar Skull Glow is yours to take home at the end of the night.

This isn’t your ordinary painting class.
We’ll transform the painting area with blacklights while you work with fluorescent colors selected to react under UV light.
As the painting develops, you’ll get to see your sugar skull take on an entirely different personality beneath the glow.
The electric blues, greens, pinks, purples, reds and oranges make this an especially fun painting to experience under blacklight.
No special blacklight painting experience is needed. We’ll provide the painting supplies and guide you through the process.

The Mockingbird on Mill Road is a wine café and event destination in Graytown, Ohio, in Ottawa County. Rather than rushing in right before painting starts, we recommend coming early and enjoying dinner and drinks before you pick up your brush.
The Mockingbird offers food along with a beverage selection that includes wine, beer and specialty beverages.
Then stick around for Wine & Canvas as we turn down the lights and bring out the fluorescent paint.
