Wine & Canvas private paint parties make it easy to bring a group together for a creative Grand Rapids experience. This private event is a great example of how organizations, clubs, communities and friend groups can turn an ordinary gathering into something memorable.

Guests paint together in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment while a professional Wine & Canvas artist provides step-by-step instruction. All art supplies are provided, and each participant leaves with a finished piece to take home.

Planning a private paint party in Grand Rapids? Your group can choose the venue, date, time and painting project. Wine & Canvas can bring the creative experience to a private residence, office, community space or venue partner.

Private paint and sip events are ideal for club gatherings, resident events, birthdays, team celebrations, fundraisers and social groups. Bring your people—we’ll bring the paint.

Important Information: 

• Pricing includes all the art supplies (canvas, paint, brushes, etc..), table covers, and aprons. 
• The artist will complete the setup/cleanup and guide everyone through the process of creating their Masterpiece they can take home.
• Food/beverages or tables/chairs are not provided if the event is held at an office/home/on-location.
• If your event is held at one of our venue partner locations, food/beverages for your guests may be arranged and purchased through the hosting venue.
• If the event starts an hour or later than the confirmed time a late fee may be added calculated at the rate of $50 per hour. 
• Custom painting is an extra flat fee of $75 and must be paid when the deposit is paid. 

Terms and Conditions: 

• To confirm the Private Event booking the client must pay the deposit. This deposit is non-refundable but it is transferable for up to 1 year. 
• By submitting the deposit you agree to the “Terms and Conditions” listed on this page. 
• The painting portfolio will be sent to the client once the deposit is paid. 
• Payment for the final headcount must be completed 24 hours before the event time/date (2 seats are covered with the deposit paid already). 
• You get up to 3 no-shows from the final headcount as long as it’s above the group minimum of 8 people.   
• A refund for the 3 seats will be processed post-event once we’ve confirmed the actual headcount above the minimum group size. 
• We are not financially responsible for paint on clothing or other surfaces during our events.

Winter Weather Notice:

• If we cancel due to weather your party will be able to either be fully refunded or can reschedule to a new date
• If you need to cancel due to weather concerns, we need 48 hours notice and the deposit is non-refundable but transferable.
• Any paid seats beyond the deposit has the option of refund or transferring to the new date
• If you cancel under 48 hours there are no refunds available for any tickets but we can reschedule with 24 hours notice

Schedule Your Private Party

We are a mobile art studio so we can come to your home, office, or venue of choice. If you don’t have a venue in mind, we will help you find a great restaurant in your area. Your booking does not include food & beverages. Be sure to order from the venue when you visit!

All events are booked in 3-hour windows, excluding our Cookies & Canvas kids events that take only 2 hours to complete. Artists will handle setup and cleanup. We can do 2 hours if you have time restrictions, but may need to simplify the project you pick.
