What do we learn at the custom printed canvas events?
A local artist is at every event to instruct paint mixing, color matching, and brush handling. Our local artist is available for help with fixing mistakes and questions!
Do I need to sign up in advance?
We recommend signing up in advance because of limited seating, most of our events will sell out. You can register on the website or give us a call and we will be happy to walk you through the registration process.
What is the cost of a Wine and Canvas event?
The price range is generally between $35-$45, but this may vary by location, night, and painting. Fundraisers are usually a little more.
What is included in the price?
We provide the Artist, Canvas, Paint, Brushes, Easels, and Aprons. Refreshments and alcohol are not included. Wine and Canvas is the name of our company because we believe “wine” is the perfect compliment to art however not everyone partakes in consuming alcohol and we do not want someone to pay for something they do not participate in. Drinking a soft drink for some individuals is a perfect combination for them. We keep the price at $35 – $45 for the supplies and instruction and do not increase the price to include beverages so that everyone has a choice. Most of our venues run drink specials or have a fun menu to choose from and our studio locations have very inexpensive drinks.
What do I wear?
We provide aprons, but you may want to wear something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on — just in case!
What time do I need to arrive for an event?
We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to get signed and seated.
Are any events BYOB (bring your own bottle)?
BYOB is not allowed in any studio location or any restaurant partnering for a Wine and Canvas event. It is illegal in many states to BYOB. Please check with your specific location for details concerning BYOB. Our partnering restaurants and venues offer great drink and food options! Wine and Canvas Studios offer an inexpensive variety of alcohol and great snack options, so please contact your local Wine and Canvas Studio for more information.
What is your cancellation policy?
Wine and Canvas is an entertainment event much like a concert, dinner theater or movie theater. We do allow cancellations or reschedules unlike the above but we do require a 48 hour notice for regular Wine and Canvas events only. This does not include Gifted Custom Art classes. Cancellations should be made via email or by phone. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We will provide a full refund or reschedule you with 48 hours notice. We will charge the event fee for reservations not cancelled 48 hours in advance. Public classes are subject to cancellation without a minimum of 10 attendees. Cancellations are very rare and customers will be notified via phone and/or email of cancelled classes.
When does the new schedule come out?
The new schedule will post on the 20th of the previous month. We are always updating our schedule with new venues, please join our email list to get the new events via email.
How often will you repeat paintings? I missed one that I really wanted to paint.

How many people do I need for a Private Event?
Please contact your local Wine and Canvas for quotes for Wine and Canvas and Cookies and Canvas Private Events. Generally our requirements for a Wine and Canvas Private Event is 15 guests and for Cookies and Canvas 10 guests. If you have fewer guests you are charged for the minimum that is required. Private events can be held at one of our studios or in a location of your choosing. We can provide tables and stools if needed. Please check with your local Wine and Canvas for exact requirements and pricing.

Is Cookies and Canvas right for my child?
Children and adults of all ages are welcome at Cookies and Canvas. Younger children will need the assistance of their parents. Once a child has reached school age, we find that they can independently follow along, however this is always up to the parents discretion. Snacks of any kind are welcome at Cookies and Canvas and cookies are provided with each registration. Even though adults are welcome, alcoholic beverages are never served at a Cookies and Canvas event.
I am an artist, are you hiring?

Can I leave my child at a Cookies and Canvas event?
Yes and no. It depends on the maturity level of your child and must be over 8 years old. Parents are not required to paint and can enjoy watching their child create.
I want a Wine and Canvas Studio of my own! Can I own one?

What is Open Studio at a Wine and Canvas Studio?
Have your own idea for a painting? Open Studio is perfect for you! Pricing for Open Studio is by canvas size and varies by studio. Open studio pricing does include all supplies needed! Please contact you local studio for times and pricing. Generally no instruction is given during Open Studio time however, some studios offer one on one private lessons, be sure to inquire.
Is there an age limit for Wine and Canvas?
For all of our regular events, we recommend everyone to be 14 years and older. However, under 14 years old are welcome to attend so long as they are accompanied by an adult. We do have family days also which are specifically tailored for ALL ages.

What is “Paint Who You Love” & “Paint Your Pet”?
These custom events are created with your specific image of your furry friend, that you submit when registering for the event. When you arrive your custom canvas is waiting! No experience is needed. We will give you personalized instructions on how to create your chosen pet portrait on a 16×20 canvas.
Can I cancel my “Paint who you love” or “Paint your Pet”?
Wine and Canvas Custom Canvas events are specifically designed for you. This is a customized canvas. It is your loved one on the canvas and it takes a considerable amount of time and manpower to put your specific canvas together. Therefore, once you register, there are no reschedules, no credits and no refunds. No exceptions. If you are unable to attend the class, we will make arrangements for you to pick up your custom canvas at one of our locations.
