Samantha Hartman – Paint and Sip Instructor

Samantha Hartman joined the Wine and Canvas Greater Indy team as a paint and sip instructor in spring 2024. She attended Ball State for Art Education but, in hopes for better opportunities, changed her major to Elementary Education. In 2020, she graduated and began working as a first year teacher right in the very beginnings of the pandemic and, over time, the education field began to fall apart with many teachers leaving the career entirely.

After dedicating 2-3 years to teaching, Samantha has chosen to take a temporary hiatus, seeking to reignite her passion for art. With a fervent desire to explore the world of art in its entirety, Samantha envisions herself returning to the classroom as a high school art teacher in the future. In the meantime, instructing for Wine and Canvas serves as the perfect fusion of her artistic flair and teaching expertise.
