Darci Collins

My name is Darci and I have been painting for over 10 years now personally and teaching painting instruction for the last 4 years professionally. My path to being a painting instructor began about 6 years ago when a group of mom friends and I wanted a night in but couldn’t figure out what to do. I thought it would be fun to do a low-key fun art piece at my place where we could socialize, have a few drinks, and be creative. We had a blast and after that night, I was hooked. It was so much fun, not only to instruct, but to have the social interaction that I had been missing between work, family, and working toward my first degree. I started my own mobile painting business soon after and have gotten to instruct private home parties, at wineries, bars, churches, and restaurants. I have joined Wine and Canvas for more painting opportunities. Painting brings me joy and I get to travel, meet new faces, and help painters realize their creative potential.
