Do you have questions regarding Paint and Sip events? We have answers. Check out our FAQ section below for answers to commonly asked questions regarding; paint and sip, paint nights, kids painting class (Cookies and Canvas), and much more.

Wine and Canvas is an entertainment event much like a concert, dinner theater, or movie theater. We do allow cancellations or reschedules unlike the above but we require a 48-hour notice for regular Wine and Canvas events. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. Cancellations should be made via email only. Refunds will only be processed if requested within 3 days from the purchase date and are requested at least 48 hours prior to the event start time. If requested outside the 3-day window, you will be given a store credit. Public classes are subject to cancellation without a minimum of 8 attendees. Cancellations are very rare and customers will be notified via phone and/or email of canceled classes.

The new schedule will post on the 15th of the previous month. We are always updating our Indianapolis schedule with new venues, please join our email list to get the new events via email.

Please contact your local Wine and Canvas for quotes for Wine and Canvas and Cookies and Canvas Private Events. Generally, our requirement for a Wine and Canvas Private Event is 8 guests. If you have fewer guests you are charged for the minimum that is required.

A fun, social, group setting, with an artist to guide you step by step in replicating the nights featured painting. By the end of the evening you will create a fabulous piece of artwork! The event times vary but we suggest arriving 30 minutes early to get the seat of your choice. Events are 2 1/2 – 3 hours with frequent breaks. If labeled PUBLIC the event can be attended by all ages but note that people will be drinking alcohol during the event and we recommend our events for ages 16+. Some of our venues are an actual bar location and you must be 21 to enter. Please check description of the event. All levels of artistic ability are welcome to attend.

We recommend signing up in advance because of limited seating, most of our events will sell out. You can register on the website or give us a call and we will be happy to walk you through the registration process.

General pricing is $39 per person. Children’s events are $29 per person. Some specialty events or fundraisers may be a higher price per ticket.

We provide the Artist, Canvas, Paint, Brushes, Easels, and Aprons. Refreshments and alcohol are not included. Wine and Canvas is the name of our company because we believe “wine” is the perfect compliment to art however not everyone partakes in consuming alcohol and we do not want someone to pay for something they do not participate in. Drinking a soft drink for some individuals is a perfect combination for them. We keep the price at $35 – $45 for the supplies and instruction and do not increase the price to include beverages so that everyone has a choice. Most of our venues run drink specials or have a fun menu to choose from and our studio locations have very inexpensive drinks.

We provide aprons, but you may want to wear something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on — just in case! We are not responsible for paint on clothing. We use water based acrylic paints which are non-toxic.

We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to get signed in, seated, and your food/beverage ordered.

BYOB is not allowed in any studio location or any restaurant partnering for a Wine and Canvas event. It is illegal in many states to BYOB. Please check with your specific location for details concerning BYOB. Our partnering restaurants and venues offer great drink and food options! Wine and Canvas Studios offer an inexpensive variety of alcohol and great snack options, so please contact your local Wine and Canvas Studio for more information.

Yes, there is. Children are not allowed at Wine and Canvas events. You must be at least 21 years old to attend unless the hosting venue says otherwise. We want to respect our hosting partners’ liquor licenses so it is ultimately up to them whether or not an underaged participant may attend. Please see the “description” of the event you are registering for any additional information regarding age restrictions.
