Joy is new to the Wine and Canvas family. Her love of art dates back to when she was 10 yrs. old and won a drawing contest in grade school. She received her B.A. – degree in Graphic Design from Indiana University. For over 15 years Joy worked in several prominent graphic design studios in Indianapolis and later created her own design business. She enjoys working with pen and ink, acrylic, and pastel. In addition to painting and drawing, she enjoys singing jazz standards at nursing homes, dinner clubs, and special events. Joy says, “To me, Music and Art are not all that different: both are avenues for creative expression and self-therapy.”
