Artist Jamie Kosmicki is from the West Michigan area and graduated from Kendall College of Art and design in 2005 with a BFA in Art Education. Jamie taught art at the high school level for 5 years and then elementary and middle school for a few years after that.
Jamie has painted several murals for Founders Brewing Company as well as several large set design pieces for her children’s musicals. She enjoys working with acrylic paints, and when not painting for others, enjoys floral still life, portrait, and landscape painting. She also loves tending her garden, building furniture, designing and decorating spaces, and occasionally singing in local bands.
Jamie has been drawn to art history since her first college art history course. She loves to explore and learn about the world through art, architecture, and travel.
She recently started a travel business to help others realize their travel dreams and with the goal of leading groups of travelers interested in visiting cultural and artistic gems. She looks forward to guiding groups on a fun, artistic journey on canvas closer to home as well!
