Founded in 2013 by Guillermo and Gina in Cape Coral, Monarcas Cape Coral has been delighting Cape Coral and Fort Myers with authentic Mexican cuisine for over eight years. Hailing from Michoacán and Jalisco, Mexico—regions renowned for their exquisite dishes, snacks, and tequila—they dreamed of bringing a taste of their homeland to their new community.
Their vision was to infuse every dish with the rich flavors and traditions of their home. As their dream took shape, they chose the name “Monarca’s,” inspired by the majestic Monarch butterfly that migrates from Canada to Michoacán each year. The name reflects not only the regal connotation of “Monarch” but also the beauty and grace of this remarkable butterfly.
Every visit to Monarca’s is a journey back to their Mexican roots through delicious food, with a commitment to making you feel like royalty. Come “Eat, Drink, and Enjoy” like a true Monarch!
